Originally from Long Island, New York, Kerin began her professional career in Maryland and worked for four wonderful years as a high school educator. She spent summers teaching swim lessons and serving as a Red Cross volunteer. After personal reflection and recognizing a passion for medicine, Kerin completed a Masters of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Towson University. Kerin’s extensive PA training included:
- clinical rotations in pediatrics,
- family medicine,
- internal medicine,
- emergency medicine,
- and various other specialties.
Prior to joining GWPC, Kerin Hamilton worked as a PA-C in orthopedics. Kerin Hamilton is excited to be pursuing her longtime interest in mental health, psychiatry, psychology, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology for children and adults. Kerin wants to make a difference for my patients and their families, as she believes that a healthy mind is the foundation to overall health and wellness.
